Extracting a table definition from the command line

Question:

How can I quickly extract a table definition from my mysql database?

Answer:

Use the commandline tool mysqldump as shown below. The example extracts the table named 'users' from a database named production.

// -d = no data; structure only
// put in your own login information
mysqldump production users -d -u root -p password

This worked great thnaks! Just one note: I had to unzip the .sql.tar.gz for it to work with no errors. Maybe obvious to experienced users but figured I'd throw it in just in case.
