Question:

I don't want my users to be able to have my web form filled out by autocomplete. Can I disable it with JavaScript?

Answer:

Normally a user would have to configure their web browser

Tools->Internet Options->Content->Personal Information->Autocomplete

where they can disable the saving of usernames and passwords. This cannot be done from JavaScript.

You can try the property AUTOCOMPLETE in your HTML form:

<form>
  <INPUT TYPE="password" AUTOCOMPLETE="off">
</form>

Content-type: text/html
