Name: Gary Hatfield

Email: gary.hatfield10@yahoo.com

Address:
none in Kabul or APO 'alledged was stolen if sent there'

Other Comments:
Always sent things via his 'friend in Ghana' Saviour Ahiagbedey Nsawom Road 106 Accra, Ghana 00233
Phone number 233244119135. Alledged he was in Kabul and his friend flew the packages into him at Kabul. When I stopped believing him he has changed his name to Brett Coppins, because I complained that he had no background to check and everyone has documents. His whole story changed. His age changed too from turning 60 in July to being 53. All the photos are of the same man except the military id was photo shopped that he sent to convince me he was real and needed my help. I reported to the local police but they didn't get back to me before I sent some money. Never followed up on the scammer with the FBI.

I have recently been scammed by this guy on Match.com. He is going by the name James Elvis Coppins or just James Coppins there. He doesn't have a profile up but somehow initiates a chat with women there. He has emails at yahoo and gmail that he has shared with me. He has spent time chatting with me and among the many things he has said is that he is in Kabul, is getting ready to retire after 30 years in the military, has a home in Malibu, that his wife died seven years ago and now he has a daughter, Mary, who is at boarding school in London while he is deployed. He hasn't yet asked for money but I can see him setting me up!

He is also on Facebook but barely has anything there.

Here's one of three pix he sent to me and, boy, was he eager to send them. The second picture is of a soldier with three Arab looking boys. The third picture is the same close up face shot that many others have posted here,

Beware.

My mother-in-law was scammed by someone in Ghana using Brett Coppins's pictures. She has sent approximately $40,000 to get 'Major General Terry Rodgers' out of jail. Said he was arrested trying to take $250,000 worth of jewelry out of Ghana and she had to send money to bail him out to get him home. She has been referring to him as her husband and they send emails addressing her as Mrs. Rodgers. The contact for the 'attorney' was Samuel Nyamekye and the person she was sending money to was a Mr. Suleman. I hope to get some more information from her soon. She is still in denial but we are presenting the proof found tomorrow.

I am sorry that you are scammed. What you need to do now is to block the scammer entirely from contacting you. Do not reply anything. Scammers will not stop asking for money and when you have once open up the wallet for an online scammer it is hard to get rid of them. Everything the scammer has told you is just all lies. The man on the photos has nothing to do with any scams as his photos are stolen online and used in scams. Please post emailaddress and phone number the scammer is using and some mails he has sent you.

I had been scammed by Bryan Mcpeake. (Gary Hatfield) i believe that he really likes me. We talk for at least 2 months and asking for help so he can come home to US.

He said that the Bank hold his money because his wife took his money with out his knowledge while on tour in Iraq. He said that he will retire after his duty from the army on June 24, 2015.

I send him 2 phone IPhone 6 so he can come to visit me. I also send him money $1,200 last June, 2015. This man also state that he is a religious man and read the Bible, goes to church every Sunday. After sending him the money he said that it is not enough.

The last time i talk to him, he is in Brazil. He is still trying to ask money from me. I said I need his address and he gave me the address of the US Army camp in Afghanistan. Which i know he did not really work for the Army. He still insist that is a military man and not allowed to give his army number.

Yes i was scammed by this person name Bryan Mcpeake. I believe him and send him $1,200. We have been chatting since May 10, 2015.

He said he is God fearing man and goes to church every Sunday. He also reads Bible. Sometimes he will send me scriptures that he had read in the Bible. It is odd because i don't recognized the words.

He said he is Kabul, Afghanistan and that he will end his tour on June 24, 2015. By the way he gave me a picture of his ID from the army. He said his wife cheated on him and that she took his money from the bank. So he said he have to protect his money and can not have any funds until he will be here in America with his son. His friend Saviour is the one who receives the money.

I was not so lucky. This guy is very good at what he does. I hope one day he will be punish by law. When i send him money in UK while i was on holiday with family, i send him again 300 pounds. that's when we found out that he is an online scammer. He also ask for phone for him and his son so he can call me.

I need help for him to stop emailing me.
