Other Comments: This guy certainly knows how to make a lady feel good and to fall in love with him. He pretended to be a supervisor with an oil company and was retiring to open his own oil company. He said he lost his wife to cancer and has a 17 year old son. The trouble he incurred was when he went to Nigeria to negotiate the sell of an oil rig. He contacted me to send money because they didn't take credit cards there and he needed to fly home to me. After getting the money, he did fly home, but to the UK. I lost contact for a couple of days and then he contacted me again and said he had been delayed in the Netherlands. Lost contact all week with him and then I started to suspect that he was a scammer. I tried to contact him endlessly and then he contacted me and stated his life was in danger and he needed more money to fly home. He said he couldn't ask his parents because his mother was very ill and his father was taking care of her. Well, by this time I didn't believe him. He took all my money and I had to ask my parents for help on my rent. I ended contact with him and his last email was to wish me luck.
David Williams is awesome at his job of being a romance scam artist. He has been stringing me along for nearly two months now. I got nearly the same story line. His parents were killed when he was young and he was adopted by his mothers best friend and her husband. He was married but his wife died in his arms about six years ago from blood cancer. He was left with a son that is currently 17 years old and being raised by his wifes parents while he works for Halliburton. While we were talking he resigned at Halliburton and went to Kuwait to buy a refinery. When he got to Kuwait everything went great except they wanted him to become a muslim, well being the fine Christian man that he is he just couldn't do that so he flew to Africa to buy up some land and a pipeline to begin drilling for oil. When he got to Africa all of his money was frozen for a period of two weeks. He ask me for $1,500 and I told him forget it. He still kept corresponding and then he ask for $200. I told him forget it. The next request was for $7,000 and then the next one was for $500 so that he could fly back to the US so that we could be together forever. I started getting suspicious the minute he ask for money so I started researching about scammers. I even told him about my suspicions and he became very defensive and rude. This past Friday I saw a TV show about romance scammers and some of the stories that they used. I kept researching and today I found him on this site. My heart goes out to all of the women that have fallen victim to these types of people. I am recently divorced, lonely and looking for that special someone. I thought it was David Williams until he started asking for money. BE VERY CAREFUL LADIES! THEY ARE MASTERS AT WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

Hello Everyone........ I know this man that is on that pictures. I have seen him before and I don't think he is the one behind all these allegation. I think someone out there is using his pictures playing scams on innocent women. I will call this stolen Identity.

Yup.....I met this man on eHarmony this past summer. He gave me the same story: was orphaned at a young age, was raised by his aunt and uncle. Had a 15 year old son being raised by this late wife'sparents. Late wife died of cancer five years ago. Worked for Hallibuton in Europe as a supervisor but was going to quit in order to follow his dream and start his own drilling company. When he got to Kwait t work out a deal, everything fell through because his contacts wanted him to abandon his Christian faith. He then traveled to Nigeria to try again, and that is when he started to ask for money. At that time, I had already been a victim of another scammer and knew the pattern, so, I did no pursue further communication and I never heard from him again. His name was JONATHAN MORELAND and he was very generous with the photgraphs and sent me many ( that is why I recognize him in the photos posted here). Unfortunatly, I did not save any of the photos he sent me. I think that sites like eHarmony are truly part of these scams because they do not do a good background check and let these scammers through. They should do something to filter out these criminals!!!
