I placed an ad on craigslist to sell a convertible (car), and one of the pictures I posted was of my sister driving it. I received a hilarious response from 'Liam James, Major in the U.S. Army, on tour in Kabul', with the picture I've posted here along with the one others have posted already of the guy sitting down with a nice smile on his face and wearing a cammo Army shirt with 'James' on the name patch. He wrote:

about 28 more days to spend here before the end of my tour.
Please get back to me if you're interested and we can go from there...
Hee hee.. I wrote back that I am a widow (not) and work in the medical profession (not) and have no children (not) and am very lonely (not). He asked me for a personal email address, so I made a new gmail account and sent it to him. That was yesterday. I have had two emails from him today saying that he will write me a long email with lots of pictures 'in a while'. I was going to delete the email account tonight, but now I'm thinking I might want to play with him/her/them some more. Good idea? Bad idea? Any suggestions? They're using this - email@example.com

Very glad to know that you are aware of the situation which you have encountered.
Before saying anything about stringing the scammer on, I am compelled to warn you
that many of them have high grade plug-ins and are sharp with computer skills.
It is known that some ring-leaders have attended advanced electronics schools,
technical computer courses and held positions in ownerships and managements.
This only to brief you that if you do not stay on-your-toes with all of your
safety and defensive computer preparedness, remain personally unknown or fall
to any emotional weaknesses, the game could turn chaotic or even tragic.
This is how they make their living and they are impervious to human compassion.

When playing with scammers from Ghana make sure you know what you are dealing with ,never give private information to scammers so they do not take advantage on you .Have a good antivirus protection ! never open links scammers sends you .Remember that these guys are doing this for their living and scammers do get pissed when they discover they are under bait .But if you already know these things ,have fun! and if you wonder about anything just ask.
