Dating scammer Marina Tsiba, Ukraine

Well, I would like to warn also here about a new dating scammer, who uses the name Marina Tsiba. She is a dating scammer from a small town called Bryanka, in eastern Ukraine. When corresponding with a western man trough internet she first likes to build trust for several months, expresses then her emotions towards you, and then she wants to travel to meet you. In order to do so, she needs first some financial help to buy the international passport and visa, also plane tickets, as well as a certain sum of money per day which she should have to show to the authorities when entering the country. She wants to use Western Union as a money transfer for safety reasons, and with it she uses the name Marina Tsiba, and her home address as the receiver. She said that she has never used WU, but her friend has, so she knows about it.
First she asked money for the visa and international passport, as well as plane tickets, and some time after that she asked for the travelling money which the European Union authorities require. This financial help all sounds believable in a way, because the average salary per month is only about 150 dollars in Ukraine. Therefore it’s quite difficult to detect this scam in advance, if you would believe that she is otherwise sincere and honest towards you. In fact she had no intensions to meet you even though she promised that she would be in a certain flight. Instead she stole some money and never answered her e-mail address again (

Eddie from Sweden may well just copy and post it. I don't have copyright.

I really meant to link to your later post (includes Schengen link)

But after seeing Dirk's post I'm going to see if you are finding later info for newbies

No, the problem is not Sweden's Copyright Infringement laws - I considered Copy /Paste.

I thought it'd be better homework practice to lead newbies to different threads, so they research more.

If they see my American flag, and material copied from you, they'll pass the buck /kroner undeservedly to me, and you'll escape compliment.

The next problem is someone after reading such a post with an American flag shooting from his hips ''No-one seems to know anything about It in Sweden, only luck I find It!''

The responsible thing instead for a newbie is to call a Swede a Swede! :-)

OK...except it always seems to slip your mind that I'm not Swedish ;D

PS...I couldn't find anything in Dirk's link that was fundamentally different to what I've been posting all along.

I'm well aware of your Canadian origins, British citizenship, and your current residency, which gives a convenient geographical reference term, ''Swede'' ... i.e., until you start appearing with a United Nations Flag! :-))
