Let me make this request, to all American visitors. Please open the Embassy URL from the previous article, and save that URL.
If you see a fellow American about to visit Western Union, ask him to visit the Embassy URL first, and then visit a few threads on this site.
Just tell him / her that WESTERN UNION CAN WAIT.
Thanks to my fellow American buddies for informing newbies.
today I received email from U.S. embassy it said that olga epifanova has not applied for a visa, then she sends me a copy of what she says is her visa. Can anyone tell me if this looks real?
It looks photoshopped. Observe her picture edges. The weight of the characters in the last line is different. At the very least you should request FBI to investigate, maybe call your local FBI Save ''her'' letters, they may need the headers.

Olga is very patient she tries to make you believe that she is a poor Russian and has no money she loves you and wants to be with you but is so expensive for her to come to the U.S. she or he wants you to feel sorry for them so you send them the money for visa and passport and plane tickets. Thats what stupid me did, then she or he wanted me to send show money for customs in the amount of 2600 u.s. dollars. I could not afford that and luckely got supicious and found her here as a dating scammer. She wanted me to send the money in two amounts I do not know why but she wanted 1300 and then another 1300. she told me she would give the money back to me when we met at the airport, yeah right. I told her I could not send her the money she asks for 250 dollars for an apartment she had to rent in moscow because she missed her flight then another 200 dollars for her to get back home to tair. All lies

Anon US, it will make sense to update names, ONLY if scammer keep the same names. The only thing seems feasible is to go by the photo of a particular thread starter girl photo, stolen by the first scammer. Then as the same girl is assigned new first / last names for a new scam cycle, people who recognize the photo, can hopefully direct new posts on the same photo to an existing thread. I believe the admin prefers to organize by a (stolen) photos, rather than by names. Anyway, names can be searched at the top left of this page.

After saving photos from e-mails, first run the picture search just above the add new scammer button. You could add new ones, when there are no hits. If some hits are important for discussions, click on the hits, copy the URLs of the existing photos, when you post for reference.
